Fertility consult Utrecht

Natural support conceiving a baby

Trying to get pregnant can bring a lot of worry and stress. Will it still work out in time? What else can I do besides the regular circuit? What can I do to naturally support an artificial treatment at a clinic or hospital? With integral fertility consultations at Natural Waves in Utrecht, blockages in your body and mind can be lifted, so that energy can flow again and the reproductive organs are given optimal space to receive a pregnancy. Read on to find out what it can do for you.

How to boost your fertility holistically?

With a desire for and intention to conceive, we work on concrete internal and external factors to promote your fertile state.

I believe that when the body and mind are in balance, the body naturally produces the conditions needed for reproduction.

Very concretely, we work on your physical balance:

  • With fertility reflexology to stimulate your endocrine and reproductive systems and reduce stress.
  • With moxa on specific acupressure points to strengthen the energy flow within you.
  • With therapeutic fertility massage of the lower back and abdomen to improve blood flow
  • With nutritional and lifestyle advice including herbal remedies to boost your hormonal balance (optional).

And from the physical we start connection to the mental and spiritual:

  • Mapping and dissolving limiting beliefs, emotions and mindset through hypnosis for fertility and replacing them with helping variants.

A unique complementary method, tailored to your personal situation, to best support you in your desire to have children.

I have been in an ICSI Pathway with my boyfriend for 1.5 years. When I came to Marise, we had completed 8 transfers, with a total of 14 embryos. I went to Marise for 3 treatments just before the 9th transfer. I especially liked the fact that you can completely relax during the treatments. You don’t have to do anything for a while and I had the feeling of ‘doing something good’ by improving the blood flow in the area around the uterus. The result of our last transfer was that I am pregnant! This was then also our last attempt, so that was really a miracle. Of course we are super happy and I recommend these treatments to everyone. — Vera

Why a multidisciplinary vision of fertility?

As a complementary therapist, I am interdisciplinary trained and have specialised in women’s health. I use the method Integral Fertility Reflexology as developed by Geertje van den Eede as a basis for holistic fertility treatment. I complement this in-depth method with other work methods from my extensive toolbox.

What does this integrated approach mean?

That means I will be looking with you at multiple dimensions of becoming pregnant and your fertile state. The physical aspect, of course, but also the mental, emotional and spiritual. Your body has so much to reveal! For instance, besides your physical condition, a desire to have a child can also be about dealing with life goals, expectations and relationships. Or about processing your family history, the relationship with your inner self, or perhaps miscarriages and loss births.

Fertility is hence not isolated and is about more than the reproductive system alone. It is up to us to notice signals, look at them, listen to them and take the necessary steps to let the self-healing ability do its work. By contacting the subconscious from a deep state of being, we can tap into your own wisdom to get information about the path that is right for you.

On the way to your optimal fertile state

The starting point for a treatment plan is to work in steps towards your optimal fertile state in preparation for pregnancy and parenthood. A series of fertility consultations goes further than a womb massage, for example, and is therefore always tailored to you as a person. For example, if you do not ovulate or, on the contrary, have very long cycles. Whether it is about getting pregnant in your natural cycle or with medical support with ICSI, IVF, IUI or thyroid problems, a specific method is available for each situation.

Here I am now 20 weeks pregnant. The beginning was a bit exciting but things are going really well. I went on a very special choco journey (plant medicine) after the foot reflex and everything came together there. And I also noticed why the pregnancy had not succeeded until then. Shortly afterwards, I turned out to be pregnant. — Erlinde

Step-by-step plan for a fertility state

1. With an online intake form before the appointment and during the first fertility consultation, we identify your needs and health. In doing so, I will do a foot diagnosis at first, sensing which body systems are involved, in order to then propose a personalised plan of action.

2. In follow-up appointments, I balance your physical, emotional and mental state, both internally and externally.

3. From improved balance, it is possible to work with deeper themes around becoming pregnant that may be hindering a pregnancy.

4. Then at a deeper layer, with hypnosis for fertility through the unconscious, we strengthen your confidence in your body to be able to get pregnant.

5. The final phase of treatment is to support the changes that have been made.

Tip: As the agenda fills up quickly and space is limited, I recommend planning at least five sessions ahead based on your cycle after the intake.

How can you promote natural implantation?

If you want to conceive naturally without external help, we will first determine your ‘fertile window’ together, i.e. the fertile period during which you can conceive, and we will schedule follow-up appointments at the rhythm of your menstrual cycle.

At what point do you visit a medical procedure?

It is also common for women who are following a fertility pathway in hospital, such as ICSI or IVF and have, for example, embryo transfers, or inseminations. The question is then whether I can support implantation and optimally prepare the uterus, body & mind for the transfer. This is certainly possible. We schedule sessions at specific times in the cycle, for example between menstruation and ovulation, around the time of ovulation and in the luteal phase before implantation, to promote implantation. Get in touch to coordinate what is appropriate in your situation.

What do you do when transferring an embryo?

In such an artificial fertility process, I recommend a visit at least one to two days before the transfer. A preparatory series of appointments gives even more space and time for the bodywork, nutrition & herbal remedies to do their work and for you to be optimally receptive.

What do you do after the moment of embryo implantation?

Whether you want to conceive naturally or with outside help, after the moment of implantation, we do not schedule appointments for a while to give the foetus ample time to develop.
